First, thank you for rescuing Yoda. Unfortunately, many rescue dogs can come with baggage, some let go of their baggage fairly quickly, others take months and even years to "forget" their past. Some, sadly, can never leave it all behind them. WIthout knowing a dog's past experiences, we really never know what they will or will not react to; my guess is poor Yoda was abused in some form at the hands of a child.

The best advice I can give you is to continue with what you are doing and with lots of love, patience and time, hopefully Yoda will learn that your son loves him too and means him no harm.
