Oh Sue, you just gave me my chuckle for the day. Cresties are definitely toy sighthounds IMHO. Mine go crazy over the squirrels, birds, and Pixie's favorite summer past time is catching flies (or any flying insect) in her mouth (she's quick quick quick). Thankfully, no rodents are notches on her belt, but she's definitely my little fly hunter! One of the funniest thing I've seen is the Pixie caught a junebug in her mouth...they have those real sticky, prickly feet and it got stuck on her tongue...the sight of her drying desparately to remove the junebug from her tongue was absolutely priceless! Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
