Hi. My little guy, Milton, was just diagnosed with follicular dysplasia today. I took him to the vet because one of his places got infected. They prescribed Cephalexin for the infection, but I was told there is nothing you can do for the follicular dysplasia. I have tried: antibiotics, medicated shampoos, special dog food, scrubs, masks, astringents, benzoyl peroxide, even ProActive. (an ance medication they sell on TV!) I just read about the honey & yogurt mixture & have tried it several times without success. I think this is a whole different ballgame. I feel for you because I've been trying to find something to help him for 3 years. His bad areas are the back of his neck & his paws. I feel so sorry for him. He is a wonderful little dog. He is my little goofball. I will let you know if I find anything that helps. Wish I could help you and little Ruby. Good luck.
