Thank you, everyone, for your advise and for giving me a little insight to this breed. I have been doing just what you suggested, Anita. I spend time alone with him every night. He is in quaranteen so I go and just sit with him. I open the cage door so he can come out if he wants. He hasn't yet. I just read. And talk to him. And sometimes I sing him lullabyes. And I put fresh cushy blankets in with him every day. I try not to look at him too much. He just lies very still and stares at me. But he is looking a bit more relaxed. So that's something. He is getting used to the sights and sounds of his new world so when he does come out of quaranteen he will not be bombarded by everything.
