Have you tried other diets geared towards allergies? Perhaps the ear and skin problems are food allergy related. If you have not done so, you may want to consider a complete elimination diet, which means you feed only one food for a few weeks and if there are no troubles you can slowly add one food at a time to the diet. Maybe a no grain diet might be suitable? If diet is the trouble and you are able to find the right foods to feed then maybe some of the ear and skin troubles would clear up without shots and make your little one much more comfortable.
