While my Vibrant LS is still fully functional, the screen cover (the black case) cracked where the hinge connects it to the computer base. It appears as if the hinge was not completely aligned, and the crack has resulted. The laptop was purchased in August 99, and so is still within a year. Could anyone tell me if ASE is still servicing Transmonde laptops under warranty? If so, the email/URL to contact them about service?
