I had the same problem, but luckily mine was replaced right before T'monde went belly up. Mine also, hasn't flickered since. Of course, T'monde never found the problem and they kept the unit for almost a month "using it daily".

Is your flicker pretty consistent? Or does it go away for days at a time. Sounds a bit slower than mine was: "20 times per hour". If ASE can't find the problem or they refuse to acknowledge the problem, then feel free to mention me to add credibility to your claim.
