Date Posted: 17:57:08 06/17/02 Mon "Mom, me and Jess are going to go riding!" Alana heard as Kylee & her best bud Jessie ran out the door. The door closed and Alana said quietly, "Okay sweetie, thanks for asking." She laughed and got out of bed. She looked at her alarm clock. It said 9:00. "Wow! I'm usually up by now!" said Alana. She got up, made some cofee and let out her 6 puppies who were going nuts. "It's going to be a long day!" she said sleepily. **************************************** (Back To Kylee & Jessie) "So, who are you going to ride?" asked Kylee. "Ummm, can I ride that new mare you were talking about?" Jessie replyed. "Who? Tellin' Tessy, the Thoroughbred?" replied Kylee. "Yeah! That's her!" said Jessie. "Sure, why not?" "Awesome!" shouted Jessie. They left to KDS to get the horses. Kylee took out Midnight Splash, a beautiful black and white paint. Jessie got out Tellin' Tessy. "Ummm, I think she's kinda big!" gasped Jessie at the 17 HH mare. Kylee giggled and said, "Yeah, I thought you would change your mind!" "Now who can I ride?" asked Jessie. Kylee replied, "Why don't you take Max?" So, Jessie took out Maximum effect, the beautiful paint. The girls groomed and tacked up their mounts. "Lets Go!" they shouted. They picked a trail that had some jumps on it. They started talking about school, boys, what they were going to do when they were older, their parents, and then they started talking about their pet dogs. They were having a great time! "I'm getting hungry. Maybe we should turn back." said Jessie. "Sure, we can have lunch at my house!" said Kylee. They rode home and then ate turkey sandwiches. Alana told Kylee she had to go to KDS to do some chores. "Do you want to help me?" asked Kylee. Jessie agreed and they walked back to FCS and then to KDS. Then they cleaned tack, mucked out stalls, feed some horses, brought some horses out, and brought some horses in. It was starting to get dark. "Well, see ya tomorrow!" said Kylee. Jessie replied, "Maybe we can have another trail ride tomorrow after school?" "Cool, I'll be there!" Kylee said. They left in different directions.
