Author: BrentKohl [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:06:29 07/22/04 Thu I am proud to announce that yesterday morning (the due date) at 9:34 a.m., Lydia Alice Kohlenberger was born into this world! She weighed in at 7 lbs. even and measured 19 1/2 inches long. It was absolutely the grossest, most excruciating, spectacular thing I have ever witnessed!!!!! Lots of back labor nearly made me die with agony. I couldn't stand watching her in that kind of pain, but that little girl did everything without even getting an epidural. I have new respect for all of you mommas out there. I don't think I could do it. I just came home to shave and check messages, and now I gotta get back to the hospital to see my beautiful wife and daughter. I'm a daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the little one...she'll stop crying soon enough and you'll wonder how she grew up so quickly!! PS: Have you tried putting a CD on in her room of soft musical lullabies?
