Have to briefly tell you all, I had the MOST fun last night!! Had the unexpected pleasure of taking my 9 year old daughter and a friend to see Aaron Carter in concert. Have to say I was pretty impressed at how well his show was put together. Very nice stage show, some cool effects, and of course...screaming little girls everywhere!!

Initially, I was a tad concerned for the quality of the evening when the first two acts came out and LIP SYNCHED their entire set....but luckily Mr. Carter had it a tad more together and put on a very nice show. (and that little dude can dance!)

The absolute best part of the night tho was watching my daughter's reaction to it all. Watching her face light up as *her* teen idol bolted on stage was such a treat! Seeing it all thru her eyes FAR OUTWEIGHED any of my BCR related shows/experiences/meetings. Definitely takes you back to those wide-eyed innocent days when we all first discovered our *idols*

Just thought I'd share.

Isn't it fun? I took my 12-year old daughter to see Britney in May and it was so much fun share the excitement with her. My daughter tends to idolize the girl singers- she wants to be like them! With me it was all swoon, but with her she wants to BE them! Anyway, I think it's my BCR days that help me to tolerate the Britneys and the Christinas of today.... besides, I was the best mom in the world for one night- gotta eat that up while I can! mary, we'll have to get *Kerry* on this one as she literally lives for all this fun boyband stuff with her daughter. She's been to concerts of bands that I've never even heard of!! (Laura too I think!) Mine is still a tad too young to be asking about concerts (almost 10)and as it stands now she likes Aerosmith, go figure she's her Mother's daughter! I did have an awesome "adult" night out seeing Aerosmith and Kid Rock. I would suggest catching this act. Suprisingly enough Kid Rock was great. Aerosmith was, is, and are the Bad Boys of Boston so needless to say they were primo! (NT)~Mary18:39:14 09/09/02 Mon

I remember taking my now 23 year old daughter to see NKOTB in concert about 10 years ago. I bought scalper tickets for her and her best friend so we could sit up in the front section. Watching them scream and carry on was great; so much like my own Roller days. And I let her buy whatever merchandising she wanted, because I truly understood how important it was to her.
