Did anyone else see the Vh1 special on bubblegum pop? I was quite surprised they didn't mention the BCR seeing as they brought up Tony DeFranco. (Though he has aged well I don't think he can compare with the BCR following!) The show appeared almost as though it was a platform for the new Katie Cassidy cd which did not fair well during the summer. She did a remake of "I think I love you". They did however have Danny Fields from 16 Magazine and the creator of Tiger Beat. Both of which explained how they brought the teen star in as a small pic which would grow to an almost 8x10 to only return to the small version. It made me wonder how many actual covers did the BCR have and for how long? Does anyone know?
