Subject: BCR Movie Mention Author: Connie [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:57:56 10/30/03 Thu Those of you planning to see the new movie "Love, Actually" (starring a massive cast including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, Colin Firth, etc. etc.) are in for a treat! Not only do the BCR get mentioned by name (I believe the quote is something like..."the eternal genius of the Bay City Rollers") but the song "Bye Bye Baby" is played pretty much in its entirety and very prominently. I won't go into further details about the scene itself because the element of surprise makes it better. Unfortunately the song doesn't appear to be on the official soundtrack (there's a LOT of music used in this movie), but one can at least hope the lads received some kind of performance royalties for the film!
