After an 8-year hiatus, next week I will be resuming my career in the music business as Regional (West Coast) Marketing Coordinator for Universal Music!! I'll be working with my former co-worker and Marketing Manager from Sony Music, a great guy who now runs the Universal branch in San Francisco. I'm on such an adrenaline rush that I haven't slept or eaten in days...LOL..this job's been great for my diet so far! I figure the lack of sleep will be good practice for the music biz lifestyle that I remember so well. ;o) With the music industry undergoing such a radical evolution at the moment, I'm very thrilled at the opportunity to be involved in creating innovative new ways to market music in the digital age! Now my only question is whether Universal will allow me to hang a Pirates of the Caribbean poster over my desk despite the fact that the movie was made by rival studio Disney! ;o) And yes, thank you, I am VERY much enjoying owning my very own copy of the DVD!! ;oD [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
