Subject: There will be red rolling, but it won't be carpet!

SCENE BEGINS

"The scene starts out at a XWA house show in Phoenix. THe crowd is packed tightly into the arena. When out of nowhere, the building goes black. From out of the PA speakers blasts Hedup.

The screen lights up to show a very disturbing image."

"The capacity crowd rises to its feet and begin to cheer. From out of the back walks Nightmare. He makes his way down the aisle and heads for the ring."

"He climbs into the ring with a shocked look on his face. He goes over to the far ropes and asks for a mic. The ring announcer tosses him one. With the crowd still exploding, Nightmare pauses to look out on the crowd."

"Consumed by the crowd, Nightmare drops the mic in the center of the ring and goes over to the corner. He climbs to ropes and looks out as the crowd becomes even louder."

"After a few seconds, he jumps down, and picks up the mic to begin to speak."

Nightmare: You know, I really don't know what to say. I'm not used to this. I'm not used to the fans cheering me on. Usually, I'm greeted with boos. Now let me get this straight. You are glad to see me out here tonight?

"A chant breaks out and is carried through the entire arena."

NIGHTMARE...NIGHTMARE...NIGHTMARE

Nightmare: I guess so. Could it be because you all are depending on me to tear that big mouth Jesse Biggs to shreds at System Shock?

"Huge pop from the crowd."

Nightmare: Ahhhh. Now I get it. All of you feel just the same as I do about the jackass! Well let me set all your little hearts at ease. Your White Knight is here! I plan on doing nothing more then going into System Shock and completely destroying him!

"Again, the chant starts."

NIGHTMARE...NIGHTMARE...NIGHTMARE

Nightmare: Biggs! I hope to God you are listening. For the past few weeks, since the inception of the XWA, we have all had to endure your pompas ass. And to tell you the truth, I dont think we can take anymore. Now I have never been one to side with the fans, but I think we are in agreement on this one. I have listened to you come out here with your flashy clothes, and big entrance and run off at the mouth with your stupid rhetoric. And it has driven me over the edge! I'm sick and tired of hearing you claim that I cheated in order to beat you. Look at the tape asshole! I had you beaten from the second the ref said go. Better yet, from the moment the match was signed. You are not in my league. Hell son! You don't belong in the same state as well as the same ring as me. Your skills are so far below mine, it's sick! But, when System Shock rolls around I'll get my shot to shut you up for good. You! Me! FLAMING CELL!

"The crowd explodes"

Nightmare: That's right Biggs. The two of us, locked in a cell that will be set on fire. No ref for you to knock out, no one for you to hide behind. And the best part of the whole deal, NO RULES! I don't care what you try to pull, it will not be enough! There will be no way in HELL that you can say I cheated. Everyone already knows that the only one who cheated in that match was you. And lookie lookie....Still didn't work out for ya did it? NO! I'm going into that match with the sole intent of tearing you to little flamboyant pieces. But you know what the sweetest thing about this is? Do ya?

"Nightmare pauses for a moment."

Nightmare: Not only do I get to mutilate you in front of a sold out capacity crowd, but I'll become the first ever XWA Champion in history!

"Huge pop"

Nightmare: You hear that? You hear all of those people cheer when I speak of beating you? Those are all of the people that you thought were on your side. All the fans who you figured would carry a torch for you no matter what. But what do you know. Just like life itself, they're all against you. No where to run, no where to hide. Nothing can save you from total domination! Your move is called 'Rolling out the Red Carpet'? Right? Well the only red that will be rolling at System Shock will be your blood as I anihilate you. As I leave you lying a a pool of your own blood. And when I leave you lying on the mat nearly lifeless, you as well as everyone else will know that Nightmare is the Domination force in the XWA!

"The crowd roars in approval of Nightmares words."

Nightmare: That's right Jesse. From the opening bell I will begin to beat you to within an inch of your pathetic, loud mouth, offensive, disgraceful life! You will know PAIN! SUFFERING! HUMILIATION! And you will also know that DREAMS CAN HURT! And that Nightmares aren't just figments of your imagination, but living, breathing wreacking machines. And you just happened to get in my path! I'll see your ass at System Shock. You better check on your insurance policy. Cause your family is going to be claiming real soon!

"Nightmare throws down the mic as Hedup hits over the PA once more. The crowd roars as he steps out of the ring and heads back up the ramp. As he walks into the back the screen lights up again."
