As soon as Skye had the pile of cloths on the counter, Niko made a soft 'psst' sound to Sam and crooked a finger to get her attention, stealing her away to let the little girl attack the shoes. During the time it took to get the cloths rung up, he had already found a pair of trendy pink skater type tennis shoes and a pair of silvery beaded dress shoes to go with the boots that Skye had liked. Contrary to his feelings on shopping in general, he did like spending money on his girls. The man and girl were chatting back and forth, the girl more than the man.. but both were enjoying themselves. He had been teasing Sam about buying her a very ugly fur rimmed jacket and making her wear it when she laughed and went to run to Skye but he snagged her around the waist and picked her up, making her laugh even more. He nodded to the lady who had helped the girl find her size that he would take the three pairs, then carried the giggling girl over to Skye, the noise making Ayden wake and fuss grumpily.) Have you seen a little girl around here? (He said to Skye, while Sam was over his shoulder, slapping her hands on his back and laughing.)

Skye soothed Ayden, making soft coo'ing noises to him till he settled before she lifted her eyes up, laughing at the sight of the shrieking child and the smiling large man. She shook her head, shrugging her shoulders a little. "Nope, haven't seen her, just seen all these great clothes and a very sweet man who seems to be fond of girls shoes..." She grinned, shifting Ayden to her other arm. No wonder Niko had such impressive biceps, the boy was heavy after awhile. She grinned, pulling out her credit card and handing it over.
