In an ordinary world, it would be obvious that Obama is heading toward victory. But given the last eight years, many of us have this inkling that Republicans will find some way to sabotage things, no matter what. One difference, though, is that Obama's campaign is exceptionally well-planned. He had a good ground game in the states much earlier this year, and he seems consistently prepared to counter whatever the Republicans throw at him. It's the first time in ages I've felt confident that the Democrat knows what he's doing. It isn't so much his election to lose as it is McCain's election to turn around.
