Thanks, Tina! It is very important that everyone contact Senator Tim Grendell urging him to advance this Bill to the Senate for vote. If it doesn't get to the Senate before the end of the year, the Bill is dead.

Steve Croley owned and operated a public boarding kennel and training center. He will be permitted to own dogs, sell dogs, buy dogs, train dogs and board dogs in 13 months. He can legally do this in January 2012 as he will have served his current "probation" for the atrocities he committed in late 2008 by killing 8 dogs and allowing 11 others to nearly starve to death. Don't forget that Croley is a young man, and training dogs is his only vocation. Most likely he will open and operate a new boarding kennel/training center in a location where his crimes are not known. That means that he could open for business in your town or city, and you or your friends could unknowingly entrust your dogs to his care.

We cannot sit idly by while the State of Ohio considers animal abuse a misdemeanor. This affects all of us -- whether we live in Ohio or not. I urge everyone to write to Senator Tim Grendell as soon as possible. It only takes 5 minutes. Call Chairman Tim Grendell Phone: (614) 644-7718 or Email: SD18@senate.state.oh.us of the Senate Judiciary Criminal Justice Committee. Chairman Grendell is able to decide whether Nitro’s Law HB70 will advance. If the bill doesn't get to the floor for a vote by the end of the year, IT DIES AND NOTHING CHANGES FOR THE ANIMALS.

Thank you to those people who have already called and written.
