This is a very important bill to ohio, we NEED tougher laws this is happening on a daily basis and people are getting away with it. I volunteer for our local pound and just yesterday we got a call on a starved dog, it was all skin and bones most of its hair is done how he is alive is beyond all of us. The lady said she would throw food out to it maybe once a week, then she said didn't have the food. WTF she had to other dogs in the house that were fat as hell, with a 40lb bag of food in the closet!!!! She said well its not my dog its my brothers. Oh that a great reason not to feed the dog. She should be punished and not just a slap on the hand either. There are many rescues and organizations in our community can help or you can turn your dog into. Hell putting it to sleep would be better than doing what these people do. In the case of Nirto this kennel was a very well know kennel. These people paid the man good money. This also happen in my back yard the town just north of us. Ohio has a serious problem and laws need to change, so PLEASE take a moment to look at the video Sharon has posted, it will turn your stomach take a minute to send an email to the Chairman Tim Grendell voiceing your option it could make a difference.
