I have had 1 BB that I put a BH on and had a excellent temperament but died of stomach cancer at age of 4. Very tough dog work on defence drive and when it was turned on look out. These dogs can be a hand full I mean they can be for real you need to put some time in the training but it is worth it. The one I had would do anything for me and I am sure he would give his life for me as well. Not many dogs will do this regardless of what the breed standard is. I have not owned a rot but used to belong to SCH club that was almost all rots. The biggest different that I see is Rot work of a pray drive or pray aggression and BB works of true defense drive. I would have to say BB I had never had any handle aggression problems that I saw in the rots.If you wont to do some dogs sport get a rot if you wont a working farm dog get BB. I can say this I have never mist a dog like this I still think of him all the time.
