I don't know Gordo that well...only having met the dog once or twice (I don't remember), but I did like him. I also remember thinking the dog to me looked like it had some training issues (as if the mastiff was trained by people familiar with herding type dogs)...as it appeared as if the dog worked too 1 deminsional for my personal preferences (displaying a lot of prey and little to no defense)...BUT MAYBE that was for some reason...be it SchH being the goal, or because of the dog's nerves, or whatever. Regardless, he is indeed a great looking specimen that has done more than most boerboels...which is somewhat of a tribute to both the dog and Norman's efforts.
