Thanks for sharing your information. That is just not right. A buyer should always get the registration certificates in their own name, or at the very least be listed as a co-owner if the dog is being placed under special terms.

The particular puppy owner that I know of has had lots of trouble with Sandra at Sandaharr and getting the registration papers transferred into her own name. Sadly, the pup has now been diagnosed with severe HD. The puppy owner will be getting a second and possible third opinion, but the x-rays aren't looking good.

We all know that a breeder can never guarantee the health of a puppy. I don't think any puppy owner is that naive to think that anyway. In this particular case, when the puppy owner notified Sandra of the problem, she was met with a set of accusations so foul I cannot repeat the words. I saw the hateful e-mail from Sandra blaming the puppy owner of the problem, almost happy that the puppy is suffering. Sandra called it "karma". Mother Nature calls it "genetics". It is an x-rated e-mail, so I won't post it here. If anyone wants a copy, please e-mail me privately and I will forward it.

Here is an excerpt from one section where it is not x-rated:

"It's called Karma you stupid woman,do bad and you get bad!!!!!Think on that one (puppy owner).Perhaps you'll learn something for the future, though I seriously doubt it." Sandra Brownlie, Sandaharr Boerboels

I once considered a puppy from Sandaharr. Thankfully I didn't go down that route. My biggest concern about this breeder is her obvious disregard for the puppies that she has bred, and her denial and accusations against the puppy owner.

Still in shock.
