He became well known for breeding some of the best English Mastiffs out there, then it became known that he did this by using outcrosses.

Also, many breeds were "reproduced" by outcrossing.

It has its place, but honesty is something that should be there as well.

Unfortunately, too many uneducated people bash such outcrossing programs without knowing enough about it, and that is probably why some people don't "tell all." Still, I believe in an open door policy when it comes to honesty. The truth/results should be good enough to justify what we do...that is if we know what we are doing.
