Subject: Jordan, you are only kidding yourself here. They are the smaller, thinner, pups off to the side

Again, you need to read that article. If they are the less active ones...I will tell you the most likely reason that is...

It is because they have been dominated and turned into scared little pups that are afraid to do much. Remove the dominate pups for a few weeks and see how these scared pups start to come out more at feeding time. As I stated before...damage done already. That is why they are off to the side. If you believe otherwise, I will confidently say you are only kidding yourself. At this point in their lives...every time they get close they get nipped at by a bigger stronger pup...which causes the winner to develop food based aggression and confidence, but also causes the looser to become nervous, fearful, and shut down.

Damage done already = the dogs learned to stay in "shut down" mode. They are nervous fearful pups that are afraid to express theselves or develop interests in things because every time they step up to something new or to food, the bigger pups correct them. These smaller insecure pups have learned safety on the sidelines. If you don't see it, then you don't know what you are looking at. You can see it as clear as day in the way they move and look around. They want to, but they are afraid to come out. That is not good = damage done already.
