Adrian chuckles softly, then shakes his head.

"You forget already... I'm from the future, remember? Magery doesn't exist. Technology reigns. But we can't filter the rain... It's a natural occurance, and besides, it might anger the Hive near the base. But don't worry. Deaths to the acid rain are minimal, roughly one or two per month or so."

He smirks softly, calmly spooning soup up, eating with gusto, yet remaining somewhat mannerly, every so often wiping his lips with a napkin before speaking.
