I agree that the 5 inch rules has helped in most WMA's.remember the 2 inch rule,it was hard to even see a buck that had a forked horn.A forked horn rule would help the heard in Ocala if more does could be taken thats for sure.Even if antlerless deer permits were given more often they can be used for otherwise illegal bucks,so for the forked horn rule to work the antlerless deer permits would be for DOE only and no bucks unless it dose not have antlers.
Should the FWC do 3-5 year study on a WMA with the rule to see how well it works before makeing it a statewide standard?
