When Teke arrived at the gate, her horse watered, fed, and ready to go, she found herself alone. She sighed and looked around, and there was not a single person to be seen, except for a drunk stumbling down the street in the distance.

She felt a twinge of anger and disgust, but quickly replaced the emotions with her resolve. She wasnt jokeing when she said she would fight this battle alone if necessary. She knew that doing so would likely mean her death, but doing nothing would sacrifice her honor.

"HAH!" She yelled as she spurred her horse forward into a trot. The beast took off for the wilderness in a steady gait. She would travel on the well known road, and hopefully she would arrive at her destination after only a day and a halves travel.
