As I waited by the crossroad I knew the warrior would have to pass, I thought of the many spells in my arsenal. There were almost too many to remember, but a few that could be used in this instance. I had had to go back to my rooms above the tavern to retrieve my saddlebags with the ingredients for each spell. Now I sat on my huge gray warsteed, Ironheart, waiting for the warrior's approach.

Peering through the leaves of the trees we were standing in, I saw a cloud of dust approaching my position. Kneeing Ironheart out of the trees, I sat on her in the crossroad and waited.
