Actually, all these issues are resolved in the new version of our software.. It just needs to get online! It's in its very last stages of beta testing. If you'd like to help beta test, please let us know. Active threads wouldn't be archived til a period of inactivity set by you, and many other options.. Archiving is very configurable, and many more changes.
