I dont think taxes 'need' to go up. The thing is its looking more and more like the economy might improve before any more govt spending (economic recovery packate of 1 trillion) gets into the economy. The thing is that govt and money is like drug addicts and herion or crack. Once they get it they cant seem to lay off.

How about we cut spending first and then look into whether taxes need to go up. (keeping in mind that those that are considered poor dont pay taxes and in fact get a 'refund' for more than was paid in.

That doesnt mean that I consider rich white people victims but I dont think we should punish people with high taxes just for making money. Isnt that what America is about. Land of opportunity? Or do we want to turn it into land of welfare?
