The things that you learn... Im gonna stop blanching the greenbeans right away. That certainly speeds up the process.

Im also planting some peach trees and blueberrys soon.

I havent yet made the broccoli salad.. I hate to admit it but it totally slipped my mind. Im going to try it soon!

We are trying brussel sprouts this fall and broccoli. I havent had much luck with Broccoli or Califlower. Im just not getting it in on time to do well. But I havent given up yet. Some of this is trial and error as I figure out what areas are best for what. Ive got one area that doesnt seem to grow anything. Im going to bring in some dirt and work it into that area and see what happens but Ive tried fertilizers and such but nothing wants to grow in that spot.

We do still make bread but not as often as we used to. I think Im going to invest in a breadmaker though. Maybe get one used.
