As long as a serious debate can be side tracked by all the rumors, distortions and outright lies, a serious debate will never happen. Time is being consumed with the ridiculous.

If the insurance and pharmas are worried they might meet their maker shortly, why would they be pouring millions into fighting it?

Why shouldn't the Bush tax cuts be reversed? Maybe people who owe the IRS might be able to pay their bill. Maybe the one percent club might start feeling some of the pain they've forced the middle class to endure.

The problem seems to be that people want a free ride, not have to pay a cent more so someone else sho's struggling might be able to have health care. It's a worn out, debunked theory that it pays the freight hor people who don't want to work. That went out along with the welfare mom who was always depicted as fat and lazy with a whole herd of illegitimate younguns.
