I cant stress this enough.... The congress spends all the money. The only thing the President does is sign the bill. And its the Obama 1 trillion dollar stimulus package that he signed.

Also it seems that the current President has called for maintaining some of the Bush policies that have fueled the deficit. Some of the same ones that you are calling unfunded.

But thats fine.... I have ever been against the deficits of the Bush admin that admittedly expanded the debt by 1.5 trillion... give or take a trillion. But as far as I can see the new deficits and spending are making the Bush spending seem lightweight by comparison. Obama and the current congress is trying to be all things to all people but all thats going to do is bankrupt this country. At the rate that spending is continuing to increase, President Obama will have more thand doubled the Bush spending and that includes the amount spent in Iraq and Afghanistan.

White House predicts that the nation will have to borrow an additional $9 trillion over the next decade to finance the annual deficits, driving the accumulated national debt to nearly $23 trillion in 2019 -- or 76.5 percent of gross domestic product.

Sooner or later Obama or someone else has to take a higher road and DECREASE spending or we(the USA) will go bankrupt and see a real depression.
