It's not like it's calculus or anything. ;)

What do you mean by 'put your experience back where it was so are are at the same level you are supposed to be at and call it good'?

I don't see how it's basically getting a 2 level boost because this rule (which isn't in effect yet unless you're referring to level loss) would effect everyone the same. It's has the effect of gaining or losing one full level.

If the rewards of an adventure justify one full level, why not do it this way?
