Banmali Lahiri wrote a nice letter to Mrs Lewis you can read in "Treasures Against Time". Who was this man's Dad? Was it Ananda Mohan? Who was Ananda Mohan's Dad? Tincouri? See, I thought Ananda Mohan approved of SRF, even taught at Ranchi. Now was HE giving kriya in the Lahiri name independently?And has Banmali? Or did Ananda Mohan say that only SRF can give kriya, all the rest of you lineages, drop your malas.

Myself I an an SRF person and no doubt God gave the Western dissemination and world wide effort to Yogananda. Yet I beleive the other lines are fine to continue on the way the transmission has always been--in secret. I think in the 60's SRF had no arguement with this, but when Shibendu badmouthed SRF and went on world-tour, SRF was upset. Last I heard they will not compare Shibendu with Kriyananda but they say we can't vouch for the validity of the line. They will also say follow your heart.

Does Banamali even practice kriya? I know a few people he has let in the house but it is rare he lets you in. Even the YSS monks cant get in much. I heard YSS wants the house but Lahiri's are set they will never sell it. Does this Banamali have a son?

Anyone who has info. on this I'm all ears.
