But first a good evening to ya D. I hope your house is buzzzing happliy with good battery power and such.

In re to the state of medical science. While it is true that certain medical regements using multiple medications--expensive medications--do exist it is equally valid to say that the vast if not virtually all the AIDS sufferers in the 3rd world do not get the level of medical care that people in general get in the US. I noted expensive because the cost of the medical regementation (drugs for
Sci) means that if you hve medical insurance you probably can afford all those expensive drugs.

For people who cannot afford the very expensive mecical regiments the AIDS virus goes hapily on its way without hindernace--unfortunately. And on top of that, in many countries of the world the social stigma means complete social banishment much like leoperacy used to evoke.

I realize you are holding out the olve branch of hope. However, in the case of aids the drugs only 'Put Off' the enivatable end til a later date. I know that you are being optimistic for AIDS people.

But for myself, I would want my doctor if I had an incurable disease that was going to kill me I would definately not want the MD to give me hope. I would want compete, honest, frank and even brutal honesty. At least I could prepare for what is to come. I would want my MD to look me strate in the eye and say that I am going to die soon/make out your will/get your affairs in order/there is absolutely nothing to do to save you. I would want this honesty. Too bad the MDs dont want to give it.

May your family propser
May your wallet fill up
And may the sun always shine on your funny roof ;)
