With no fees paid other than $15 per dance, at best this brings in $15k… it won’t offset hardly anything. They aren’t making money on this. Once you pay for awards, stage time, judges, and quickfeis… maybe they thought it would drive more teams participation? But those numbers look relatively the same with the obvious acception to the 6 hands that were added
