Why not? Anything they make can't be any worse than 1978's film "The Buddy Holly Story".

I *know* this proposed Buddy Holly film will *not* have the budget of this Summer's "Elvis" film, but if a new Buddy Holly film could/would put Buddy in the spotlight again like the "Elvis" film did for Mr.Presley, why not?
