 I thought Irvin Feld was responsible for the low-budget Winter Party tour. If he'd provided better transportation and a logical schedule, maybe Buddy's charter flight would have been unnecessary.

I should have been clearer: My list of heroes and villains is related to Holly's music career. People who helped his career, and people who hindered it.

I don't know enough about MEH's behavior during Buddy's lifetime to say if she helped or hurt his career, other than possibly wasting his time when she suggested dance lessons or whatever for him.

I just thought of another hero: Hi-Pockets Duncan. He provided encouragement and opportunities early in Holly's career.
