She lay still, unable to move from the pain of the contractions for yet another pup. She lay there unable to aid her mate. Snarl escaped her lips at both the pain and the annoying female she waddled herself to a standing position, body aching, but knowing what it had to do. Almost falling over from the pain, she stood as upright as she could, lunging best she could at her foe. Pup lay temporarily forgotten upon the bed...out of harms way by a good three feet.
