Digesting her thoughts, he begins his list of contridictions.

"No--the pups do not value their lives. They just LIVE it. They dont ask why, because they dont care. Whatever is aesthetically pleasing, is lustful, is glorious, they strive for..after consiquences are obsolete. And over time living develops as muscle memory. We do it because we've DONE it. Thats why we keep living.

"But I fully agree with your point about her ugly side--its always good to know the dimensions that you're dealing with. Me--I try to stay blunt. Make my opinions known. And I also think that my reactions to certain situations could be estimated given my character..which I admit isnt a amiable one. But its not like Im trying to please anyone."

His eyes narrow on Enchancee in hatred.

"I would never do anything like Enchancee did. Bluntly stating to disown her children, then seeping back to the lands with her tail between her legs--it revolts me. And if I did attempt such a sickening feat--I wouldnt have come back."

"No, no, you twist my words. Just because I say Enchancee's value is worthless doesnt mean I have one. I have a value on my life, in absolute. But why wouldn't I? It is either sit here, on this earth, pad around on my lowly paws and make things happen, or sit unaware in oblivion. I have value in that sense. But I am not afraid to die."

"But to answer your question--if you attacked me, yes, I would react. But not in fear for my life...I run on a utilitarian set of gears. I would attack simply because, you attacked me. And it would be my purpose to defeat you in smite, and bring you down for such a thought. Some may find it shallow that my life runs on grudges...and some of it does. But I will never bend the way I feel for another. If we 'feel' at all."
