Rubbing her head against his softly she smiled, maybe there was something between the two, who knew? If only they'd get out of this alive, maybe it'd work for the best. Pulling away as she realized how close she had come to this king, she felt ashamed. Everyone would say she only liked him because he was king- but that wasn't true. She lowered her hide to the ground, only to pick it up on an after thought. She watched the clearing behind them, sure Khastin would be watching the front. Eyes scanned for Banshee- where had she gotten too? And Spell, why wasn't she about? She could picture her friends lying hurt somewhere with the wrath of the beast. Anger filled her- there was no way this creature would take another life. For the first time ever- she spotted the ghostly image of the female. Jaw dropped in awe as she glided gracefully away. She was an image of beauty.
