 I beam into the transporter room of the USS Raven. I look around and smile. My first post. I ask the ensign where to find the captain. She tells me and I go to the bridge. "Ensign Dee reporting for duty sir."

He turns from his seat and looks at me. "I wasn't aware you were coming Ensign."

"The Admiral sent me, said you were low on crew."

The captain smiles at me. I smile back, relieved. I hand him my pad. He reads it outloud. "Ensign Dee Deuberry, Human, Earth, America, Caucasion, Height: 5'2", Weight: 130, Hair: Red, Eyes: Green, Parents: Mark and Penny; civilians, Marital Status: Single." He looks at me when he is finished reading. "Did the Admiral give you a post Ensign?"

"No Sir. He said you'd be best at choosing a place for me."

"What are your skills?"

"Counsiling, nursing...I'm a people person." I smile.
