>What are some of your favorites?

I like most of the "classics", My fair lady (love the movie too.), The Music Man, Oklahoma being three of my favorites. I also love Gypsy and Cabaret. I love so many.

What subject from history would you especially like to read of?

In regard to the civil war, I am often the most affected by the personal remembrances of those serving in the war. The civil war was one of the most contemporarily written of wars in history. Those fighting seamed to understand clearly of it's lasting significance, and kept journals of their experiences.

I have a book, Voices of the civil war, which is a good introduction to many of those journals.

>I can tell you a really good book to read about Patrick Henry if you or anyone else is interested.

Sure!

I learned today that my father was with Patten's 3rd Army in World War II. He was with the 11th division when they liberated Mauthausen. I am now reading a great deal on Mauthausen and Patten's forces.

My dad was an army medic during the war and was awarded two bronze stars for bravery. He got both by rushing into battles to rescue downed servicemen.

I'll be reading much more on WWII. I already have a sizable collection on WWII and the holocaust in my collection.

Some one should push a cream pie in my face about now...too serious.
