 Aurie felt like he was floating. He wondered where he was going, and who this strange girl was. Can I trust her? He wasn't sure.
His hands started tingling... the feeling went up through his whole body. Suddenly he fell in a heap on the ground.
Aurie stood up and found that his hands were shaking uncontrollably. "Where are we?" he asked the girl.
She didn't answer. She was staring intently at something behind Aurie.
He turned around. There, on a tree, was a strange symbol. It was glowing. "What...?"
The girl silenced him with a look. Aurie was forced to struggle with the questions he had by himself.
What is that? And why do I feel like I've seen it before?
There was a blinding flash of light, and Zidane was standing before them. Unlike Aurie, he had managed to stay on his feet.
"Mikoto, why are you here?" he asked again.
The girl sighed impatiently. "I've already told you..."
"No," Zidane interrupted. "What's the real reason you're here? And how did you know about Aurie?"
Mikoto blinked her eyes slowly. "I have my sources," she said slowly, as if talking to an annoying little child. "Now we need to go before you get in even more trouble than you are already."
Aurie butted in. "Would someone please tell me what's going on? For starters, who is she?"
"She's Mikoto." Zidane sighed. "My... sister."
