The older busses with the metal tube seating seem in a better condition. Yesterday I noticed one of the Mickleover busses had been in a fairly nasty smash, it was being towed away with a broken windshield and damaged bumper. Trent may be higher prices however i've noticed that driver-passenger relations are better, the quality of vehicles are better and using trent is far more pleasent affair then using Arriva. >Hi >N+D have two ex Arriva Citybuses (B138/9 GAU). >Neither have been repainted, and arent likely to be >either. They have N+D names applied to them, and are >only used on Schools services. > >They purchased them at Christmas, as they needed more >deckers for extra School Contracts (won from >Arriva!!). > >I know what you mean about the plasticy look on the >DAFs and Darts. The new Scanias that Trent have are >similar. The interior of the Optare Excels have >material on the walls and the ceiling, which the takes >the plasticy effect off in my opinion.
