Date Posted: 13:38:13 01/18/06 Wed In reply to: Chris 's message, "Re: Former 'Camms' Fleetlines" on 17:31:20 01/11/06 Wed Didnt Derby City Transport take over Camms? At about the same time as all the City Rider stuff took off. I remember Camms taking route 33 but DCT retaining the old Blagreaves Lane circulars (routes 34 and 35) Chellaston was the other one, the 61 was blue but the 60 was Camms. Am I right in thinking this? It was probably around 1993/94 I also seem to remember all the Camms buses disappearing out of the city at around three o clock ish too to go off and do the school runs! >I vaguely remember the "competition" period of the >early nineties, DCTs older fleetlines, mainly Roe >bodied I believe went to Camms, I remember a ex >Birmingham P reg example which never became orange and >white (they still had the Birmingham PTE colours to >some part). > >Strange times those were, if I recall it was 40p adult >return!
