She smiled softly as he kissed her, letting her eyes slide shut and her chin tip up a little and she returned his kiss lovingly, her hands curling gently around his forearms. She knew in her own mind she more than deserved him- She didn;t consider herself below him in anything other than life experiance... she had been studying at the same school as him before she was pregnant, and planned to return when Nick had finished up and the baby was old enough, she didn;t have to bad of a background- none of which was her own fault at least, and she knew she was a fairly well rounded girl. She knew their only complaint would be that she'd gotten pregnant, and perhaps that she wasn;t in the top 100 eligable females. She broke the kiss just to gaze up at him, speaking softly with her lips still close to his "I love you Nick" She wasn;t sure if he was ready for that... and she didn't expect it back, she just wanted to let him know how she felt for him. -- Caitlins place

He felt the same way - that she more than deserved him. He had never been a model student - all of the ability in the world but none of the ambition - and he had made a lot of mistakes already in his young life, but his parents had their own ideas about the way that the world worked. Either way though, he wasn't making his decision to be with her because of anything to do with them - for once he was making this call on his own. He returned her kiss warmly for a long moment and then sighed softly, and just tightened his arms around her - hearing her say it reassured him that he was doing the right thing, and it would only be a matter of time before he would be able to say that back to her.
