Dear Gill,

I too have major animal business going on. The first "inner animal " I experienced was an elephant. It was kind of a daydream vision, spontaneous and sudden and intense, of a most beautiful and VITAL elephant running down a certain street in the Haight Ashbury where I lived at the time. It was just a flash, but I have retained a sense of connection. (Actually, I think the elephant was checking me out, said to herself, "Nope. Better turn this one over to Coyote.") (And that's a whole other story.)

By the way, if you have ever heard Deidra laugh, to me her laugh sounds like the utterly silvery, Elfland, pristine and Ideal version of the Hyena's laugh. Like she is the essence, the distillation of the Pattern for Hyena...her laugh makes me think along these lines anyway.

I too want more animal talk. And by the way, I have sent emails to a lot of people in the last 24 hours, and not a one of them has answered me. I think, well, they have LIVES. I mean, what else do I have to do but sit here and try to stir up some action? There's that Coyote again, always getting me into trouble!

Very curiously********Kyla
