 Whenever I find I'm in a situation from which there is no escape I most always laugh. It's not even that I think it's funny, it's just hopeless and I see how I am trapped. This also happens when others are discribing their prediciments and my laughter always seems out of place in the situation because it's so terrable, but it's an automatic response and I just keep my fingers crossed that the person will not think I am being unsympathetic. I don't think it qualifies as humor in the ordinary sense of the word but your remarks about not being able to find your car keys when I and everyone else seemed to be in such a heavy place was great. I found it amusing as hell. Now I find your problem has compounded and you can't find your gloves either. Life just seems to get more and more difficult.
