So many Canadian kids end up at american universities, but many just end up disapearing and are never heard from again. There are many reasons for this, sometimes the athletes decide running isn't all that important to them and there education comes first, others just end up in programs that are not a good fit, because the coach was a good recruiter but a horrible coach. I would say obviously Arkansas develops their athletes, Michigan does a good job but many Canadians also dissapear from there without much improvement. WVU has shown that they develop athletes that were not superstars in high school into respectable runners. but what about the kids who went to Tenn Chatanooga, what happened to those kids because they certainly had very little imprvement and they were talented kids. I'm sure there are a million other schools where kids are being lost and other programs where one or two kids are thriving. I just wonder why kids would go into programs that have shown they do not develop there runners.
